Management Options:
A. Calves sold at weaning: Use The Callicrate Bander on Calves approximatly one month prior to sale date.
B. Calves sold following a post-weaning, pre-conditioning program: Castrate at weaning time.
C. Calves retained through the growing and/or feeding phase: Castrate at about 750 lbs. or no later than 100 to 120 days prior to slaughter.
D. Purebred bull calves: Delay decision time. Leave calves intact until heavier weights and safely castrate the culled bulls.
